MCI-DTI Biomarker Development Lead Investigator: Leonard Wesley Institution : San Jose State University E-Mail : leonard.wesley@sjsu.edu Proposal ID : 1520 Proposal Description: GOAL-1: Quantity and characterize the ability of a NODDI and personalized track analysis of a masked hippocampus region of individuals. GOAL-2: Develop ML models to predict and discern control, MCI, nonMCI, and aMCI subjects from NODDI analysis combined with RAVLT, MOCA, APOE4, vascular, and resting state data. EXPECTED IMPACT: Improve current MCI prediction accuracy, precision, and recall. OBJECTIVE-1: To test null and alternative hypothesis RE ability of selected features to predict MCI with greater accuracy, precision, and recall. OBJECTIVE-2: Assess prediction results using a mathematical calculus called evidential reasoning to characterize what is and is not known about predictions with greater fidelity than is currently possible.
